The Ups & Downs in Finding Love

It's the season of "Love" right...and finding and having it is "easy" right? February the month of LOOOOVVVEEEE. So you are loved and boo'd up right? WAIT....you don't have to answer this right away because we all know it is not an easy process...right? But according Social media having this and finding it to post to express ones "relationship goals" IS the GOAL. but let's talk about though...for real for real.

There is no one way to find a partner in love, but there are ways. Trust and know that we have to persevere through the process of finding love. When it hits...it is like a whirlwind of goodies and butterflies in our tummy that over powers us to see the tunneled version of a person,

ree

relationship and situation. But when that "honeymoon" of emotions start to subside, then what?

Ups and downs of love is a process. When you love someone just know that it is as precious as the love you hold for your children, close friends and loved ones. It will not always be perfect, you will disagree, you will argue but it is part of the process just as laughing, telling jokes and having great sex! The downs means you still have work to do in knowing and understanding your partner, and it's okay to not know it all. That's the beauty of growing with someone. (However, there are limits too, another article for another day)

However, finding love is beautiful, fulfilling, blinding and can be confusing. It will come in teased doses before finding the right fulfilling dose. But the key to having it is by understanding your love for yourself so you can share how YOU want to be loved. That's what keeps the maintenance of the love. We all talk about love languages, but do you really know yours and your partner and have communicated what you think each other language is? Don't just assume...I promise you the conversation is better to have than the assumptions.

The process of finding and having love will have ups and downs, because it will help you overcome challenges in a relationship and help you to build a foundation of communication and resilience which can help you to solidify your love.
